He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H., Sr. and Mary Catherine Horan Schneider; and his brothers, John and Louis "Boots" Schneider. He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Kissel (Rob), Debbie Moore, Elaine Franklin (Ken), Joe Schneider (Rhonda) and Teri Schneider; and his grandchildren, Danny Kissel (Madeline), Katie Langfels (Cameron), Eric Kissel, Mike Moore (Leeann), Chris Moore (Sara), Amber Hill and Trey Franklin (Shelby). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Martha Catholic Church (2825 Klondike Ln, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Penn Run Memorial Park.
