As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Peggy Clark. He is survived by: his children, Chris Meyer (Margaret), LouAnn Heckman (Eric) and Lori Homra (Mark); and his sister Helen Kraus. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
