He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Lee Ellis; and his grandson Nick Rodman. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Gibson (Jack), Linda Rodman (George) and Bonnie Wright (Shawn); his grandchildren, Bailey Nazifi (Tyler), Jenna, Kyle Gibson, Andy Rodman (Jessica) and Carly Rodman; his great grandchildren, Mason, Ellie Rodman, Avery and Jackson Schweitzer; and his pet Utzi Kibosh Ellis.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Nick Rodman Legacy Foundation and/or Hosparus Health of Louisville.
