He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Everett and Cora Alene Burt (Cook) of Louisville; his wife Dollie Burt (Sermon); his son Mark Anthony Burt; and his siblings, Louis, Bill, Raymond, Bob, Jim, Pat and Norma Cline.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Bailey (Mike), Betty Huber, Keith Burt (Kim) and Lorie Burt; and his sisters, Sister Mary Corrine Burt and Sister Mary. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Follow Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
