He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellsworth Perry and Velma Mae Snyder Perry; and his sister Betty Janine Perry Wattleworth. He is survived by: his wife Connie M. Perry; his daughter Jennifer Jo Perry Hanson (Jay); his grandson Jon Richard Perry (Julie); his great grandchildren, Christian Tyler Perry, Kayleigh Nicole Perry, Jayden Charles Hanson and Josiah Darryl Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Wattleworth, Kenny Rosenberger, Mark Vanderwerf, Vicki Rosenberger Shearer (Terry) and Debbie Rosenberger Porter (Tom). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Highland Park First Baptist Church's missions fund.
