He was predeceased by: his wife Bridget Sanders; his son John Allan Sanders; his parents, John Anthony Sanders, Jr. and Doris Marie Bate Sanders; and his brothers, Albert Sanders and Joseph Sanders.
He is survived by: his son Michael Sanders; his stepson James Tindle; his brother James Sanders; his niece Jessica Sanders; his nephew Jason Sanders; his granddaughters, Amber Tindle and Tamra Tindle; his great grandchild Ella Claire Tindle; and his daughter-in-law Samantha Tindle.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
