He was predeceased by: his father Stephen L. Bensing; and his stepfather Billy Petty. He is survived by: his mother Cathy Petty (Mark Thomas); his children, Mackenzie Hamlett, Johnathan Hamlett, Serenity and Zane; and his siblings, Jamie Bensing (Chris) and Jeremy Bensing (Sierra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
