She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Barger and Ruby Barger; her husband William E. Distler Sr.; her daughter Janet Lynn Distler; her siblings, Jackie Oaks, Harold Barger, James C. Distler and Bill Oaks; and her nephew Brent Oaks.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Distler Jr., Scott Allen Distler and Jill Collins (Mark); her grandchildren, Ali Denbow (Michael), Zack Distler, Chase Collins (Amanda), Jackie Wheeler (Matt), Brittany Gibbs (Lee) and Taylor Distler; and her sister-in-law Martha Oaks.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Arch L. Heady (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
