She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Gering and Marguerite Hicks Gering; her husband George D. Weihe; and her son Jeffrey Weihe. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Weihe (Beverly) and Joel Weihe Weihe (Patti); her grandchildren, Courtney Kern (Jacob), Lauren Weihe, Seth Pardieu and Sydney Pardieu; her great grandchildren, Tessa Kern, Gwen Kern and Liam Kern; and her siblings, Ron Gering and Claudia Tyler.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Summit Heights Methodist Church (7400 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40208).
