Joan Haueter Jockell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Haueter Jockell (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Klein and Joseph Emmett Haueter; her husband Karl G. Jockell, Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph, Ava, Thomas, Gerald and Mary Lynette.
She is survived by: her children, Karl G. Jockell III (Lynn Wright) and Sherrin J. Williams; her grandchildren, Matthew T. Williams (Katie) and Michelle R. Williams; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Alex; and her sister Carole Ray. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (5505 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
