He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Louise Wright, Oscar and Dorothy Corley; his grandchild Lamais Wright; and his niece Britnee Blair.
He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Dale Wright Sr. (Nancy) and Darlene Corley Wright; his siblings, Lisa Blair (Mike) and Steven Wright (Kristen); his children, Jimmy Dale "JD" Wright III, Bradley Wright, Damian Wright (Charlie Doyle), Alexis Wright, Brennan Wright, Summer Wright, Jordan Wright and Dena Wright; and his stepchildren, Mandy Rosales, Danny Wilbert, Santana Moore and Ashley Wilbert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and ten nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel (1832 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
