He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Brooks and Joyce Brooks (Burnett); and his brothers, Layton, James and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Brooks; his children, Angela Kaelin (Joey), Kelly Austin and Ryne Ray; his grandchildren, Austin Wiehebrink (Haley), Kinley Kaelin (Nolan), Joey Kaelin and Robert Austin; and his sister Shela Vincent of Chalybeate. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
The Family respectfully asks that contributions in Jimmy's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
