She is survived by: her husband Louie McDuffie; her children, Christa Huddleston and Phillip Craig Brown; her siblings, William Anthony Darst, Robert Thomas Darst, Hope Burris (Ryan) and Paul Kelley Darst; her cousin Michael Wilbert; and her adoptive daughter Paige Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bassett Hound Rescue.
