Jerry E. Simmons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry E. Simmons of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Walters, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Simmons and Reta Hart; his sisters, Wanda Mull and Mary V. Smith; and his son-in-law Roger Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mingus Simmon of Louisville, KY.; his daughters, Terri Phillips, Tracy Desmarais (John) and Tammy Simmons; his grandchildren, Amanda (Michael West), Austin, Alayne (Chris Henly), Jack and Natalie; and his great grandchild Wells.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
