He is survived by: his wife Delma Jean Cottoner (Bowman); his children, Derek Bowman (Tanisha), Donna Bowman, Tanya Bowman and Bryan Cottoner; his grandchildren, Jeanna Higgs, Justin Miller, Nathan Bowman, Whitney Duncan, Willie Sharp, Jasmine Hill (Quint), Derek-Terrell Bowman (Porri), Brian Bowman and Desmond Cottoner; his siblings, Reverend Robert L. Cottoner, Faye Royster (Curtis) and Sheryl Stafford (Freddie); and his granddaughters, Marlena Eaves, LaTonya Burnes, Shante Parker, Danielle Hopson, LaToya Bryant and Shaleakah Abrams. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canaan Christian Church (2840 Hikes Ln, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
