He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Dorothy Hulse Griffith; his former wife Norma Freudenberger Griffith; his brother Jerry Griffith; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Nein and John Nein.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Batthauer Griffith; his children, Diane Owen (Jeff) and Troy Griffith (Veronica); his grandchildren, Andrea Fraze (Jaren), Cody, Alex, Brandon Griffith, Kelsey Bullock (Keith) and Wade Matthews; his sisters, Jennett Nein, Agnes Nein and Marlene Hart; and his sister-in-law Sheena Griffith. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Funeral Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the mission ministry for the Louisville Grace Community Church Of The Nazarene.
