It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James D. Dean (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dean and Dorothy Dean; his sons, Jack Dean, Nicky Dean and Chuck Dean; and his sister Dorothy Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Evarts Dean; his daughter Kristie Hardin (Brian); his sisters, Betty Sharer (Jerry), Kathy Samuels, Vicki Dean and Sandy Grammar; his grandchildren, Peyton Kitchen, Michael Dean, Brandon Kitchen and Brian Dean; and his pet Phoebe Macaroni. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Nunnelley Chapel (4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Resthaven Cemetery.
