She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Young and Pauline Young (Kanasz); her husbands, Gerald R. Eger and William Korte; her son Stephen Eger; and her granddaughter Catherine Nicole Straw.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald E. "Jerry" Eger (Laura), Regis Howard "Rege" Eger (Carol Sue), Deborah Ann "Debbie" Whitehouse (Joe) and Christopher "Chris" Eger (Melinda); her sister Paulette Yeschenko; and her caregivers, Anita, Marla and Sheronda. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours (639 S Shelby St, Louisville, KY 40202). The inurnment will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the St. Francis of Assisi (7503 Peavine Rd, Crossville, TN 38558).
