He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Edwards Cook; his parents, Charles Cook and Geneva Cook; and his brothers, Joe Carter Cook (Nancy) and David L. Cook (Ann).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Layman (Mark), Kim Cook (Vicki) and Kenneth Cook (Jackie); his granddaughters, Kathleen Grubbs (David) and Allyson Layman; and his great grandchild Molly Grubbs.
