He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Shirley Sr. and Josephine Heck. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Terry Shirley of Louisville and Judy Wall (Steve) of Mesquite, Nevada; his grandchildren, Christina Bernardo (Dominic) and Joshua Quintana (Jackie); and his great grandchild Luca. He is also survived by six siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Southwest Center in honor of his son Terry.
