He is survived by: his wife Dora Lee Risner; his children, Phyllis Howard of Albuquerque, NM, Louisville, Cincinnati, Linda and Delores Howard of Spokane, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Howard, Hayes Vanderpool and Jack Perry.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
