She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Samuels and Flora Samuels; her husband John Lacy; her children, Mike and Cynthia Lacy; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Catherine, Geneva, Eleanor, Viola, Mildred, Willie, David, James, Paul, Hilary, Virgil and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Pete Lacy (Theresa), Herb Lacy (Debbie), Judith Paulin and Joe Lacy; her grandchildren, Melissa, Toni, Ryan, Tonya, John, Chuck and Seth; and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Zackery, Austin and Tyler. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Shepherdsville Gospel Chapel (253 Hester St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
