He is survived by: his wife Christine Beavers; his children, Elizabeth Beavers and Gerald Beavers III; his parents, Gerald Beavers Sr. and Elsie Barnes; his stepchildren, David Brumitt and Sarah Brumitt; his sister Marie Howard (David); and his niece Nicole Deasy.
