With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George D. Hager Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Hager; his parents, George D Hager and Elaine Boutross Hager; his brother Reverend Robert Hager; and his stepson Geoff Russman.
He is survived by: his son Larry Miller (Melissa); his stepson Greg Russman (Jessica); his foster daughter Beverly Miller Brackney; and his siblings, John Hager (Pat), Ann Hager and Ken Hager (Marilyn). He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martha Catholic Church (2825 Klondike Ln, Louisville, KY 40218).
