He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Lee McCoy and Elsie Johnson McCoy. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Wayne McCoy and Jonathan Lee McCoy (Tara Sloan McCoy); his siblings, Tommy McCoy and Lavone Johnson; and his grandchildren, Gary "Addison" McCoy (Grace), Sailor Olivia McCoy, Dax Ryder McCoy and Poet Grace McCoy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
