He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leitner and Clara Culver; his brother George Leitner; and his great grandchild Jaxson Fullen. He is survived by: his wife Carleen Leitner (Zilich); his children, Lisa Nolley (Michael), Jennifer Leitner, Kerrie Fullen (Kevin) and Starr Steinbach (Bryon); his grandchildren, Jordan Weiter (Zack), Peyton Nolley, Gabriel Riggs (Kelsey), Bailey Fullen, Nick Fullen (April), Brandon Fullen, Joshua Steinbach and Emily Steinbach; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Sophie, Finnegan, Sadie, Easton, Sloane and Lyla.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Norton Cancer Institute.
