He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Ballard (Osborn) and Lawrence Ballard, Sr.; his son Wayne Ballard; his wife Sherry Ballard; and his siblings, Hilbert Osborn, Lawrence Ballard, Jr. and Shelia Wright Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Frank and Melissa Taylor; and his siblings, Mildred Ballard Fox, Charles Eugene Ballard, Joseph Raymond Fenwick, Sr., Ednell "Vonnie" Wright Lawson, Ronald Wright Osborn, Donald Wright Osborn and Timothy Tyrus Wright.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery (10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272).
