He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gibson and Lula Gibson; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Renfrow Gibson; his children, Terry Gibson, Kelly Gibson and Nicole Gibson (Melissa Weber); his grandchildren, Steven, Brandon, Bradley (Sarina) and Shayne; his great grandchild Kalani; and his sister Leona Remines.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kosair Charities or American Cancer Society.
