She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tilford and Mary Sharp (Allen); and her husband Shirley David Nichols. She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Kennedy (Jerry) and Beth Thornton (Sam); and her sisters, Phyllis Switzer and Judy Snook (Wally). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
