We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 91, Ewell Shanklin Harmon (Louisville, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reggie Harmon and Era Belle Harmon; and his sister Mary Coyle. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Kathy Thornsberry (Syl), Larry Harmon (Tracy) and Marty Harmon (Leslie); his sister Donna Glass (Bob); and his grandchildren, Jody Thornsberry (Carolyn), Shannon Leon (Steven), Corey Harmon (Angie), Shandy Douthitt and Katie Harmon. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home (4832 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40216). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
