She is survived by: her daughter Marta Smith; her grandchildren, Jesse, Bill, Nneka Sparks, Alex Thomas and Tamara Smith; and her great grandchildren, Calvin, Carter Hargrove, Jayden and Jessalynn Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association, an organization that Esther was a devoted advocate of.
