With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Yann (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Elizabeth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elizabeth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cooper and Marie Cooper; and her husband Richard F. Yann. She is survived by: her children, Donna Marie Hulsewede (Carl) and Richard Keith Yann; her granddaughter Christina Johns (Mike); and her brother Charles Cooper (Pat). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (501 Cherrywood Rd, Louisville, KY 40207).
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Mass of the air, or donations to St. Vincent de Paul. Keep Elizabeth "Betty"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
