He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Frederick Schumacher, Sr. (Butch) and Florence Miller Schumacher. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Schildknecht Schumacher; his son Eric Schumacher; his sisters, Bonnie Hall, Betty Schumacher and Laura Schumacher; and his nephews, Bruce and Brandon Hall.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (3640 River Park Dr, Louisville, KY 40211).
