Dora L. McGill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dora L. McGill (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Dora farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dora is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Marshall (Erea), Cornell Marshall (Marvina), Alan Marshall, Toni Skiles, Ray Marshall, Ronnie Marshall and Darryl Marshall. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church (1501 Louis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, KY 40211). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
