He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Murphy and Ona "Campbell" Murphy; his siblings, Adron, Curtis, Jimmy, Donnie, Charles Murphy and Mable Vaught; and his great grandchild Aaliyah Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Murphy; his children, Robin Russell and Ryan Murphy; his brother Bob Murphy of California; his grandchildren, Jenna Murphy and Aaron Murphy; and his great grandchild Aubrie Murphy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
