He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack E. Gibson and Iva Rae Gibson (Williams); his wife Susie Gibson; and his siblings, Ora Rivas, Ileen (Edgar Saltzman), Lillian (Charles Herdt), Cloretta Akridge and Cletus Gibson (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Foster and Scott Gibson; his grandchildren, Patrick Gibson and Autumn Fields (Michael); his great grandchild Paisleigh Gibson; his siblings, Jimmy Gibson (Patsy), Leslie Gibson (Shirley), Hank Gibson (Debbie), Ernestine Lindsey (Wilbert), Judy Zelezny and Doris Wayne (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Gibson and Ed Rivas. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Lick United Baptist Church (4271 E Blue Lick Rd, Louisville, KY 40229). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Brookland Cemetery.
