We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2024, at the age of 62, Debra Jean Morton of Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Debra Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Debra Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Lawson and Wanda Ann Silley. She is survived by: her husband George Morton; her son David Morton; her grandchildren, Destiny Morton, Chevy Lynch, Hayley Haysley and Jeremiah Lynch; her great grandchildren, Heaven and Elijah Morton; her daughter Desirae Haysley-Morton; and her grandchildren, Mason Ray Allen Morton and Ellie Jean Morton.
A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Memorial Gardens Dr, Louisville, KY 40216).
