As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Lord; his grandmother Irene Harris; and his siblings, Michael Lewis and Tammy Lewis-Pollard. He is survived by: his wife Dionne Lewis; his children, Brittany Reed, Monique Reed and Daelicia Lewis; his mother Beverly Lewis; and his brothers, Darryl and Jerron Lewis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunt, cousins, church family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Hathaway & Clark Chapel, Hathaway & Clark Funeral Home (2718 Virginia Ave, Louisville, KY 40211).
