He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurance Dabney and Lois Moon. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Moon; his stepchildren, Megan Heines (Todd), Mariel Habenstein (Scott Mitchell) and John M. Habenstein (Tara Chipman); his siblings, Laura Walsh (Michael), Laurance E. "Larry" Moon (Mindy Bush) and Peter A. Moon; his grandchildren, Abby, Sam, Austin, Shelton, Aubrey, Tucker, Averie and Matlee; his mother-in-law Russell; and his brothers-in-law, Russell J. Raffety, Mark A. Rafferty (Beth) and Daniel C. Rafferty (Patrice). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; plus an amazing group of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pearson Funeral Home (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at 13902 Rutland Rd, Goshen, KY 40026.
