He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Louise Smith; his uncles, Larry Shehan and Joseph Shehan; and his grandparents, Archie and Anna Shehan.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Smith; his daughter Christy Applegate (Chad); his granddaughters, Kassidy, Emily and Evey; and his brothers, William E. Smith, Jr., Raphale Gary Smith, Kenneth Gerard Smith (Carol Lynn), Kevin Lee Smith (Teresa) and Steven Archie Smith (Belinda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
