He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen and James Robert Burke. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Clark Burke; his children, Daniel Burke Jr. (Louise) of Louisville and Casey Burke (Matt Calloway) of Louisville; his brother Larry Burke (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Piper Burke, Halpin Burke, Quinn Burke-Calloway, Sam Burke-Calloway, Leo Burke-Calloway and Eleanor Burke.
