Though Daniel Jason may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel Jason touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, George David and Kathy Shouse Lewis; his brother David Allen Lewis; his grandmothers, Lillian Lewis and Shirley Barnes; and his nieces and nephews, Makayla, Abigail, Blake and Chase.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
