It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Damon Edward Ellis (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughter LaQuiesha Smith; his grandchildren, Quran Barnett and Qamari Barnett; his mother Ollie Lee Gentry; his siblings, Veronica Murphy (Marshall), Richard Ellis (Synita), Rodney Ellis (James), Anthony Ellis (Vernessa) and Anglique Ellis; his friend Lisa; and his close friends, Timothy Patterson, Edgar Sisson, Terry Cooper and Gerry Cooper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mt Herman Christian Church (951 S Floyd St, Louisville, KY 40202). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
