Though Claudia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Claudia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Autie Guy and Mary Guy (Hughes); her brothers, Donald Hughes Guy and Ronald Reid Guy; and her grandmother Mary "Mammy" Valeria Vinson.
She is survived by: her son Stephen R. Gillenwater.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that contributions in Claudia's memory be made to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
