He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Berger and Christine Berger; and his sister Joy Brown (Don). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Trudy" Berger; his children, Lorie Lengyel (Peter), Daina Filiatreau (Joe Erdei), Donna Fischer (Paul), Kari Prince (Dane Fox), Mark Berger (Lawre), Aaron Berger and Brian Berger (Amy); and his sisters, Mary Jean Huelsman (Paul) and Janie Anthony (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church (2931 Pindell Ave, Louisville, KY 40217). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
