He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stratton Smith; his children, Terri Curtis, Christopher Smith, Jr. and Stephen Wright; his grandchildren, Lauren Curtis and Noah Smith; and his siblings, Roger Dobson (Charlotte), Elizabeth Seales and Patricia Jo Uhls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
