He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Watkins and Bonnie Watkins (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Watkins; his children, Debbie Dillingham (Dale), Charles W. Watkins, Jr. (Nathen) and Jimmy Watkins (Darrin); his grandchildren, Brittany Morriston (Jeffrey), Dustin Dillingham, Brandon Watkins and Tori Watkins; his great grandchild Magnolia Morriston; and his sisters, Clara Noe and Lou Ella Watkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Fort Knox, KY 40121).
