He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Richerson Sherrill; his son Christopher Ewing Sherrill; his grandchildren, Avery Sherrill and Sebastian Sherrill; his sister Wanda Spires (Donnie); and his nieces and nephews, Marina Sherrill Gabehart, Teresa Giles Scott, William Giles and Tony Spires.
