It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Schmitt of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Schmitt and Elizabeth Schmitt (Alvey); her siblings, Bobby Schmitt and Janet Schmitt; and her grandmother Nellie Schmitt.
She is survived by: her stepmother Carolyn Schmitt; her nephew Jeremy Schmitt-Turner (Brandon); her brothers, John Schmitt and Jimmy Schmitt; her stepsiblings, Julle Cummings (David), Paula Bader (Tom) and Steve Thomas; her aunt Suzanne McDonald; and her uncle Tommy Schmitt (Cathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (7500 Tangelo Dr, Louisville, KY 40228). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
