It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Meadows of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel J. Jackson and Margrette Church; her former husband William E. Meadows; her children, Cynthia J. Pierce and Jeffery E. Meadows; and her grandsons, Joshua L. Sherrill, Michael J. Meadows and Zachary S. Chappell.
She is survived by: her children, William M. Meadows (Karen), David L. Meadows, James A. Meadows (Angie), Joseph S. Meadows (Deanna), Deborah A. Sherrill (James), Nelda J. Hazel (David) and Mary E. Reagan (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lukes Catholic Church (4211 Jim Hawkins Dr, Louisville, KY 40229).
